Billsburg Brewery

(757) 926-0981

Billsburg Brewery was born from our love of traditional lagers, pilsners and ales and our desire to create a space where family, friends, and the community as a whole could gather together and make great memories. Our brewery is nestled on a 10-acre marina with breathtaking views on the water, just off the Colonial Parkway, and mere miles from America's original brewery. We work hard to craft our favorite beers and we're excited to offer our patrons lagers, pilsners, and ales reminiscent of America's rich brewing history.

Copper Fox Distillery

(757) 903-2076

Copper Fox Distillery was founded by Rick Wasmund, with the idea of making whisky differently. Our first location in Sperryville since 2005, and in Williamsburg since 2015, our newest venture sprawls across an historic 6-acre plot that previously hosted the Lord Paget Motel. At both locations, we start from scratch--floor malting our locally grown barley, flavoring the grain with fruitwood smoke in our kiln, distilling in one of our custom copper pot stills, then aging with a progressive series of hand toasted wood chips in used bourbon barrels.  Free tours on the half hour. Whisky Flights, Tastings and seasonal cocktails for a small fee.

Precarious Beer Project

(757) 808-5104

We created Precarious Beer Project for people who love beer and love life. The way we see it, the world is a beautiful and precarious place. We’re all on an adventure, here to take chances and enjoy every minute,

Our own Precarious adventure began in 2017 within the 700 square foot brewery portion of the Amber Ox Public House in Colonial Williamsburg. Just a year later, our founders Andrew Voss and Chris Cook took a chance on their vision of a larger, dedicated location—just a few blocks away in Merchant Square.

The Precarious Beer Hall opened with a world-class tasting room, a street-style taqueria called Electric Circus Taco Bar, an arcade with vintage games, and multiple outdoor spaces. It was an instant institution.
