We are proud to have some of the finest Breweries, Distilleries and a Winery here in the Williamsburg Area.  Williamsburg Winery was the first on the scene in 1985, then Alewerks Brewery came along in 2006 as Williamsburg Alewerks Brewery.  Since then Virginia Beer Company was created by two William & Mary Alumni, Chris & Robby, who were glad to come back to Williamsburg after big corporate careers.  Billsburg Brewery located on an inlet of the James River was started by Dave Baum (19 - 2019) and his legend continues today with lots of live music, special events and fun for all the family on the water. 

Copper Fox Distillery started in Sperrysville, VA and relocated in the Lord Page Historic Hotel creating a very unique establishment including a speakeasy entrance.  8 Shires Distillery began as Williamsburg Distillery by Dr. Dodson, whose Father advised him to have a "second career" once he retired as a from Endodontist.  Today you can Drink Local and enjoy the true flavor of our destination.  Cheers.
